how much longer do i have of this book it’s fifteen chapters so seven left oh god oh god
Righto, let’s get on with it.
Sookie is sooooo tired by all this she decides to take a little napette. Unfortunately, she’s still troubled by all those nasty thoughts about how they did something really illegal and isn’t that horrible? SAD FACE TIEM.
You are right to feel guilty about this. You should have phoned the police. Somewhere out in Jackson there are people missing this dead man and may never have a resolution to this. So I hope you’re proud of yourself.
A werewolf head honcho pops by to be all like ‘Dude, what was up with you and Jerry Falcon last night’ and Alcide is all like ‘Dude, he was a major twat and it’s a total blood offence’. Werewolf honcho: ‘Shit that’s well serious man, I totally didn’t know, but remember you’re a guest so you can’t change with us or it’ll be all difficult. Dude.’
And Eric comes round again.
Eric didn’t leave the body in the closet because it would be an insane thing to do. blah blah blah dead body bullshit, my grievances with which I said yesterday blah.
‘I am very afraid, Sookie, that it is becoming most likely that Bill is dead. Finally dead.’
The only place left to check is Russell Edington’s mansion compound. It’s apparently a silly idea to keep another vampire prisoner in one’s own home so I’m guessing that Bill is somewhere there. Eric asks for the secret project. Sookie yells at him. Eric tells her all he’s trying to do is save her life. Sookie reiterates that SHE IS GOING TO FIND BILL. Why bother? The man dumped you horribly and you’ve spent the 145 pages or so making goo-goo eyes at a handsome werewolf. Move on.
She is told that she cannot make goo-goo eyes at Edgington because he’s gay, and Eric can’t flirt with him because he’d be suspicious. ‘We disapprove of vampires loving others of our kind’ we are told, even though in the last book Pam expressed an interest in Stan Davis, the vampire sheriff from Texas.
Somehow Sookie has to get into the compound and somehow I have to finish this book.
